Just what we need, more severe weather after several days of tornadoes, thunderstorms and damage. But there’s more on the way before the weekend.
The NOAA has the following alert:
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood warning for eastern Illinois, and there are severe thunderstorm warnings for western Kansas and the Texas panhandle.
There is a risk of severe storms for a large swath of the nation into Thursday evening. Almost 20 states are included in the area under threat, which ranges from Texas and goes up into Kansas and Missouri before ranging eastward from Virginia to Vermont. Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are all possible.
