A new system from the Rockies will once again bring the threat of severe weather to the Plains. The greatest chance for storms runs from the panhandle of Texas, through western Oklahoma, Kansas, northwestern Missouri, southeastern Nebraska, and southwestern Iowa. Flash flooding, large hail, tornadoes, and damaging winds are possible. Parts of the Northeast, from the Ohio River Valley to Vermont will also see a threat of severe scattered thunderstorms.
