How to Stay Hydrated in the New Year

We put a lot of emphasis as a society on staying hydrated, and for good reason! There is an awful lot of water in our bodies, and keeping ourselves hydrated and full of liquid helps our skin, our hair, our energy levels… even our hunger.

That’s right, did you know that the body sometimes confuses signals, so it tells you that you are hungry when all you really are is thirsty? But relying on branded water bottles and high-end hydration is silly.  If you’ve let yourself get so dehydrated that you’re ‘parched’, you’re doing it wrong! Is your hair dry and brittle? Your face overly dry or overly oily? Do you have patches on your arms, legs, or feet that are dry and rough? Do you find yourself with a headache much of the day? Hungry even after you’ve eaten?

All of these signs are your body begging you for hydration! Listen to the subtle signs your body is giving out and start grabbing your branded water bottles and keeping them close. The difference of a week when you’re properly hydrated and a week when you’re not is amazing!
