When Packing an Emergency Go Bag, What Do You Need?

Do you have an emergency go bag packed and ready in case of a natural disaster? You should! Even inexpensive home insurance policies encourage you to be prepared at the first sign of disaster, after all! Things you should include in your bag are:

• At least one change of clothes
• Small first aid kit
• Water
• Flashlight, with extra batteries
• Shelf-stable snacks, like granola bars
• Small personal hygiene items
• Extra charging cables and a portable battery for your phone

Keep your emergency go bag in a closet by the door, or another easily accessible place so you can grab it and go in case anything happens!
