Why Social Media Might be Healthier for Those Over 30

It’s all over the news, the media… social media is bad for you, it’s hurting you, and you need to stop checking Facebook and get out in the real world. But is that actually true?

When used properly – with safety settings, privacy settings, and a good vulnerability scanner – social media can greatly improve your life.  A study done in 2018 showed that the older we get, the more we lack connection – and using social media can be a helpful tool for reconnecting to others. It allows those that are isolated for any number of reasons to feel less alone, which is a powerful thing.
