Farmhouse chic and giant diamonds are out – rustic and moody decor is in, with gemstone engagement rings taking top billing. It’s true! A just-released study showed that brides-to-be are shying away from a natural diamond as their center stone, and moving towards sapphires, emeralds, and the popular diamond-counterpart moissanite, which is incredibly hard, durable, and looks just like a diamond to the naked eye.
2020 weddings won’t just see engagement ring shakeups, either. Expect eco vibes (nothing disposable or one-time use), micro-weddings, and lots of edible party favors in legal states. Trendy and popular weddings this year are going to be far removed from their traditional counterparts!
