Several inches of accumulation is expected across the upper Midwest, Ohio Valley and Northeast today and what residents hope is the last snowstorm of the season; plus more of today’s weather news.

Snow is forecast for portions of the upper Midwest and Ohio Valley including southeastern Iowa, northeastern Missouri, southern Wisconsin, southern Michigan, Northern Illinois, northern Indiana, and northern Ohio.
In the Northeast, snowfall is forecast for northern Pennsylvania, central and southern New York, Massachusetts, southern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Southwest Maine.
Mixed precipitation is forecast for portions of Connecticut and Rhode Island which could transform into snowfall.
Snowfall is also occurring to the West in northwestern Montana, over the Sierra in California, central Nevada, southern and central Utah, and in southern Colorado.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued winter weather advisories for the following areas: southern Michigan, northeastern Illinois, northern and northwestern Indiana, northwestern Ohio, Central and northeastern Pennsylvania; southwestern, eastern and south-central New York; southern Vermont and western New England areas, Boston and surrounding areas, southern Maine and New Hampshire.
West: Western Montana and central Idaho.
Boulder, Colorado has broken its 111-year record for the most snowfall in a season, but the number is likely to climb higher as it’s still snowing in the season isn’t over.
The previous record was set in the 1908-1909 season where the city accumulated 142.9 inches of snow. The 2019-2020 season isn’t over yet, but the city has set a new record of 145.9 inches and counting.
The latest predictions by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Weather Service (NWS) were released for the May-June-July average temperature probability.
Here are the regions with a 60-80 percent probability of above-average temperatures.
West & Northwest: Eastern and southern California; most of Oregon; Central Washington; Southwestern Idaho; Nevada; western and southern Utah;
Southwest: Arizona; western and southern New Mexico; the western corner of Texas.
South: Southern Florida.
Southeast & East: All along the edge of the Eastern seaboard spanning from North Carolina to Massachusetts.
