People suffering from arthritis have become more common than not.
The change of weather seasons has never been their friend and as a result, they begin to suffer more in colder weather.
During colder months, joints in the body tighten and cause pain. For those living with arthritis, chances are, the pain can become unbearable.
The change in climate is not to blame, but more so the change in barometric pressure. Barometric pressure is essentially the pressure in the atmosphere of the earth.
Low barometric pressure, low weather temperatures, and even rain can all be triggers to arthritis pain. The triggers can include scar tissues and contractions in muscles and bones.
Also, an increase in joint fluids will thicken and become stiff causing more pain during the winter months.
Participating in light physical activity could relieve some arthritis pain. Being able to play table tennis, yoga, or Tai chi could help with reducing arthritis pain.
